The EUA about the future of universities: "Encouraging our members to examine external developments"

"Our first intention with this report is to encourage our members to examine all external developments. They should not be overwhelmed by them, but rather take a step back (...) This report serves as an invitation to university leaders to collaborate with their staff and policy-makers to imagine the future together and navigate through broader developments", Anna-Lena Claeys-Kulik, Deputy Director of Policy Coordination and Foresight at the EUA, tells News Tank.

She is speaking after the publication of the foresight report entitled "What if? Exploring the possible futures of transnational cooperation for European universities". This is one of two documents produced as a result of the association's Unife (Universities and the Future of Europe) project.
