European Students' Assembly: "Encouraging innovative educational formats" (S. Menu, Epicur)

"The idea behind the ESA (European Students' Assembly) is to promote innovative European educational formats as part of the European Universities Initiative", Sabine Menu, liaison officer in Brussels, educational expert for University of Strasbourg (France) within the Epicur alliance and teacher researcher at School of Management of Strasbourg, told News Tank on 30/04/2024.

On the same day, the 79 recommendations put forward by 250 students from European University alliances were published following the third edition of the ESA at the European Parliament in Strasbourg from 10 to 12/04. These recommendations were also given to MEPs for discussion in the European Parliament.

"The students learned how to debate, obtain information on specific subjects, express a point of view on difficult issues and engage in discussions with people from different backgrounds. They discussed 11 topics related to the European elections, but which also concerned society in general," says Sabine Menu.
