Youth Talks: A global survey on what young people expect for education, themselves and the world

When asked what they think should be taught in schools, young people responded first with 'values and virtues' according to Youth Talks, the first worldwide survey for people between the ages of 15 and 29, presented during a CDEFM (Conference of Directors of French Management Schools) event in Paris on 23/05/2024. Their first wish for their lives would be 'meaningfulness in their work' and their first hopes for the world would be 'peace' and 'environmental protection'.

In addition, Youth Talks is already working on its new survey about AI and delivered its first observation, showing that young people tend to reject the takeover of AI in education, with, however, a clear division between Asia (in favour) and Europe (against).

Youth Talks is an initiative from the Higher Education for Good Foundation and is led by Marine Hadengue, Executive Director, who presented the results of the survey.
