FT Executive Education 2024: European business schools top the continuing education rankings

European business schools dominate the Executive Education Open and Executive Education Custom rankings of 2024, published by the Financial Times on 19/05/2024, with French business schools ranking first in both.

Since 1999, the FT has published two lists dedicated to continuing education, distinguishing between customised (in-company) and open (inter-company) programmes.

In 2024, the top three for the in-company ranking are:
• Insead (France),
• Iese Business School (Spain),
• IMD Business School (Switzerland).

And the podium of the inter-company ranking is made up of:
• HEC Paris (France) in the first place,
• Iese Business School (Spain), London Business School (UK) and Esade Business School (Spain) tied for second place.

If Europe appears in the first places in these two world rankings, these business schools often have campuses around the world, like Singapore (Insead), UAE (London Business School) and Brazil (Iese).

The biggest progression in the Open ranking is the Gordon Institute of Business Science at UP (South Africa), going up 15 places between 2023 and 2024 (41^st to 26^th)…
