Marie Curie Actions: €608.6 M to train 2,400 doctoral students via 160 doctoral network programmes

The European Commission has announced that €608.6 M of the €1.25 Bn earmarked for Marie Curie Actions will be devoted to funding 160 doctoral programmes under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks call on 29/05/2024.

"These doctoral programmes will provide jobs, training and skills development opportunities for around 2,400 researchers, enabling them to acquire innovation-related skills and boosting their long-term employability", says the Commission.

The MSCA Doctoral Networks, made up of a wide range of organisations including higher education establishments, research institutions, private companies, public bodies and other socio-economic players in Europe and beyond, implement doctoral programmes integrating education, research and innovation.

They promote cross-sectoral cooperation and provide researchers with research training and transferable skills, thus enhancing their long-term employability.
