EHL Hospitality Business School: "With the AACSB accreditation, we are playing in another league"

"EHL Hospitality Business School is now playing in another league", says Juan-Francisco Perellon, Chief Academic Officer at EHL to News Tank on 22/05/2024, in reaction to the Swiss school obtaining the AACSB accreditation in April 2024. "EHL is a school for life, you enter EHL and you leave with human competencies and experiences useful for you throughout your life."

"We are neither a traditional hospitality school nor a traditional business school, we are a hospitality business school with 130 years of expertise in hospitality skills and human experiences", explains Juan Perellon.

In the past ten years, Juan Perellon has spearheaded the NECHE (New England Commission of Higher Education, an American accreditation) accreditation, the association agreement with the HES-SO (Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland) and the negotiations that led to the opening of the first EHL international campus in Singapore.

He is tasked with formulating EHL's programme development strategy, is responsible for certifications and oversees academic quality and accreditation.
