On 30/05/2024, OpenAI announced the launch of ChatGPT Edu, a version aimed at universities.

"ChatGPT Edu paves the way for higher education to adopt AI faster and ushers in a new era of learning and research. This generative AI uses OpenAI's flagship model, GPT-4o for Omnimodel, which excels at text interpretation, coding and mathematics.
