50^th anniversary of the Education Committee: "Together we have achieved a lot" (I. Ivanova)

"Fifty years ago, Education Ministers called for closer relations between our education systems, improved possibilities for academic recognitions, learning mobility and free access to education. To this day these are our most important priorities and together we have achieved a lot", declares Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, on 13/06/2024 in a video message on the occasion of the conference for the 50^th anniversary of the Education Committee at the Council of the European Union in Brussels (Belgium).

The Committee held this conference "to discuss and celebrate, in the context of the Education Committee's 50^th anniversary, its main achievements in preparing the work of the Council, its contribution to supporting European cooperation in education and training, and how to move this work forward".
