From academic performances to environmental commitment, News Tank covered several rankings judging the quality of HEIs, companies or cities depending on different criteria in 2024.

When ranking the best world universities, the U.S. often arrives on top, pushed by MIT, Harvard and Stanford.

But the British HEIs fight well with the universities of Cambridge and Oxford, often the first European ranked. The UK is usually the European country with the most institutions ranked.

However, for executive education, the top 10 is primarily European, with France leading and a notable apparition of China in the FT 2024 ranking of Masters in Finance pre-experience in 5th and 8th places.

The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact 2024, ranking "universities that excel across multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" is the only ranking where Australia and Canada dominate the top 10, and the U.S. only appears in 9th place.

THE also publishes a ranking of "young universities", i.e. universities that are 50 years old or younger, in which Asian HEIs make up half the top ten, with Nanyang…
