"Science is going to change fundamentally, and everyone needs to be prepared. Unfortunately, still, few scientists are", says Matthias Girod, Secretary General of EuroScience, to News Tank on 09/07/2024.

EuroScience is a pan-European association representing European scientists of all disciplines, institutions of the public sector, as well as the business and industry sector and which also organises Esof (EuroScience Open Forum), a biennial pan-European meeting dedicated to scientific research and innovation.

This last event took place from 12 to 15/06/2024 in Katowice (Poland).

"We all know that the big scientific debates are dominated by countries like France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. It was refreshing to have a very unique Polish and Central European perspective, which you don't usually get", states Matthias Girod.
