FP10: "Make pan-European collaborative research the cornerstone of FP10" (Earto, European RTOs)

"We urge the EU Institutions to significantly increase the current budget in view of FP10 and to make pan-European collaborative research the cornerstone of FP10, answering industrial needs by excellence", states Earto, the European association of RTOs, and its research and industrial partners in a joint statement for an "ambitious FP10" on 04/07/2024.

On the question of the budget, the EU institutions are asked to "reinforce the EU RD&I investments in the next MFF (Multiannual financial framework). National RD&I investments should in parallel be ensured and at minimum meet the target of 3% of GDP, aiming at leveraging private RD&I investments."

The focus of FP10 should be on enhancing cross-border collaborative RD&I with substantial industrial involvement, can one read in the position.
