"The culture of openness and mutual understanding is becoming increasingly important in business education in response to the rising popularity of isolationist ideas", declares Friedemann Schulze, Director of Business School Services at EFMD, in an interview with News Tank on 19/06/2024.

Reflecting on the EFMD Annual Conference, held from 09 to 11/06/2024 in Bologna (Italy), the Director says the European elections, which took place on 09/06, "were addressed to some extent in the panel, but it has been an ongoing issue. Similar tendencies are emerging in various parts of the world, and schools are responding to these changes".

The conference gathered several hundred members of the management education community to tackle subjects like the impact of globalisation, collaborative research, creative leadership and digital learning strategies around the theme "Navigating geopolitical tensions, AI, and fostering a human-centred future".
