European Parliament: 170 MEPs in Itre Committee; 60 in Cult Committee

There are 90 members and 80 substitutes on the European Parliament's Itre Committee and 30 members and 30 substitutes on the Cult Committee, as indicated in the list allocating MEPs to the various committees, presented to the European Parliament by President Roberta Metsola on 19/07/2024.

Elections for the chairs and vice-chairs of the various committees will take place at their plenary session in Brussels on 23/07/2024. The coordinators, i.e. those responsible for coordinating the positions and strategies of their political groups within the committee, have not yet been selected from all the groups. They will all be known by 22/07/2024 at the latest.

In the Cult committee, the coordinators of the EPP (Zoltán Tarr) and S&D (Heide Hannes) parties have been selected. They coordinate the two most represented parties on the committee.

In the Itre committee, the coordinators of the EPP (Christian Ehler) and S&D (Dan Nica) parties were selected. They also coordinate the two most represented parties on the committee.

Italy is the country with the most representatives on both committees.
