Gaza: France launches scholarships for 20 Palestinian students; "a powerful symbol" (Mens Network)

The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs is launching a call for applications for "France excellence" scholarships - that enable students of European Union countries to obtain a bursary to study in a French higher education establishment - for Gazan students in exile as a result of the war between Israel and Palestine, on 17/07/2024.

According to News Tank information, five doctoral students and 15 students — from Passerelle University Degrees (enabling non-French speakers living in exile to begin, continue or resume higher education in France), bachelor and master — will be selected.

The call is open until 16/08/2024 for a September start date. It is aimed at Palestinians who have managed to leave the Gaza Strip and are therefore already living in France or Egypt. 15 to 20 grants will be awarded to enable them to complete their degree course or enrol for a master's or doctorate in France.
