European university alliances accredited as of 2019

European universities are transnational alliances of higher education establishments, led by a coordinating institution, and "developing long-term institutional and strategic cooperation, based on shared values and principles and aiming to achieve sustainable cooperation", according to the European Commission's definition.

News Tank lists, in tables updated following each call for projects, the member organisations of the winning universities, listed in alphabetical order, as well as the number of members in each alliance.

It also indicates whether or not the organisations are members of a European consortium that has won the call for experimentation on joint degrees or the status of university alliances.

Winning European universities
