68% of Western European firms hired international MBA graduates in 2023, and almost half of European firms plan to do the same in 2024, according to the 2024 Report Corporate Recruiters Survey by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), published in 06/2024.

"Since 2018, there has been statistically significant growth in international hiring among employers in Central and South Asia, East and South East Asia, and Western Europe", states the survey.

The GMAC quotes the size of an organisation as the main factor for international hiring, as they would have "greater resources and in-house infrastructure to process the complexities of the required legal documentation".

"In 2024, 39 % of global employers report that they plan to hire international talent, and an additional 41 % are open to the idea. Combined willingness and active plans to hire international talent in 2024 are highest in the technology and manufacturing sectors."
