B-schools: AACSB and Kabea extend their collaboration for standards accreditation alignement

AACSB and Kabea, the Korean Association for Business Education Accreditation, renewed their MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) and joint site visit agreement in Gyeongju (South Korea), on 22/08/2024.

"This agreement promotes the localisation of international standards and the internationalisation of local standards. In this renewal, both parties extended the validity of the MOU to five years and synchronised the validity of the Joint Site Visit Agreement with the MOU", states AACSB.

AACSB and Kabea initially signed a MOU in 2021 and a Joint Site Visit Agreement as an addendum to the MOU in 2023.

Following the implementation of the memorandum and agreement, several renowned local Korean universities, including Yonsei University and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, have benefited from the joint site visit arrangement and, with the alignment of Kabea accreditation standards with those of AACSB, the joint visit reduces the administrative burden on the institutions involved.
