EAIE 2024: agreement between five national agencies promoting mobility; "need to close ranks"

"This memorandum of understanding formalises the maturity of our relationship. There is currently a need to close ranks, because international mobility can be a subject of criticism, whether for its carbon footprint or through debates on immigration - student mobility being sometimes falsely associated with illegality", Donatienne Hissard, CEO of Campus France, agency for the promotion of French higher education abroad, tells News Tank on 19/09/2024.

She is speaking at the signing of an MoU formalising relations on the same day between Campus France and its Dutch (Nuffic), American (IIE), German (Daad) and British (British Council) counterparts, at the EAIE 2024 conference, taking place in Toulouse (France) from 17 to 20/09/2024.
