European universities at EAIE 2024 to build their brands and connect with the European Commission

"The EAIE conference is a platform that allows us to share innovative formats and inspire others. It's about building the Una Europa brand while staying connected with the European Commission and other alliances", says Emily Palmer, Secretary General at Una Europa alliance to News Tank on 18/09/2024.

The European Association for International Education 2024 conference took place in Toulouse (France) from 17 to 20/09/2024. In the exhibition hall, the Commission was represented by a stand and, around it, more than 20 European universities were also present.

According to Vanessa Debiais-Sainton, Head of the Higher Education Unit at the Commission: "This is the first time that the Commission has a stand surrounded by all the alliances. It's a strong political message: Europe is on the move!"

As well as being an opportunity for members of the alliances to meet, the EAIE is another chance for them to get together and learn from each other's practices: "We need to see and learn from one another. Horizontal learning is essential within alliances and much of what we’re trying to implement…
