EIC: First group of investors to "co-invest in innovative deeptech companies"; €90 Bn in assets

The Commission is launching the first group of the European venture capital "Trusted Investors Network", which brings together 71 venture capital funds, public investment banks, foundations and corporate venture capital funds ready to co-invest in innovative deeptech companies in Europe, the institution announces on 21/10/2024. This first group of investors collectively represents more than €90 Bn in assets.

Iliana Ivanova, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, says from Athens (Greece): "This EIC Trusted Investors Network in European venture capital and technology is committed to co-investing with the EIC Fund in the next generation of European champions.

For companies selected by the EIC, this will facilitate connections with like-minded investors and speed up investment rounds, leading to larger investments in shorter timeframes. It will also provide a platform for investors to exchange experiences and insights".
