Unilion : Massimo Busuoli re-elected as Chair

Massimo Busuoli, Brussels Office Director of NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), is re-elected for a second one-year term as the Chair of Unilion, the Universities Informal Liaison Offices Network, for 2025, on 22/10/2024.

He began his first term on January 2024, and had already been Chair of Unilion between April 2017 and December 2019 and Deputy Chair between January 2020 and December 2021.

Since January 2016, Massimo Busuoli has been head of NTNU Brussels office, and since May 2023, coordinator of the EOREA (European Ocean Research and Education Alliance) secretariat.

He previously held leadership roles at Iglo (an informal network of EU RTD liaison offices in Brussels) and Giuri (an informal group of Italian liaison offices in R&I), working in EU research and innovation. With a background in EU project management since 1994, he has managed multiple European Commission projects and served as an evaluator and reviewer for the Commission.
