France: €213 M raised by the HEC Foundation, "a great collective success" (O. Sevillia)

"We collected a total of €213 M in donations, against a target of €200 M. For us, that's very satisfying. During the previous campaign (2008-2013), we also exceeded our objectives, as we were aiming for €100 M and raised €112 M," says Olivier Sevillia, Chairman of the HEC Foundation, a foundation contributing to the development of strategic academic projects at HEC Paris, to News Tank on 28/11/2024.

He describes the results of the Impact Tomorrow 2019-2024 fundraising campaign, launched in 06/2019, as "a great collective success". "This is the most ambitious fundraising campaign in French higher education. But beyond this result, what is important is to measure the impact of these donations", he says.

Most of the donations collected are allocated to the school's initiatives, while another fraction is capitalised.

Delphine Colson, Managing Director, says: "In 2023, €14 M were allocated to project funding. It is essential for us to maintain continuity. We have not yet completed 2024."
