Alex Pellacani, Director General of the Università di Trento (Italy), is approved by the Board as the new President of Humane, effective 01/01/2025, announces Humane, the heads of university management and administration network in Europe, on 11/12/2024.

He will succeed Paul Greatrix, the current President, who has announced his intention to step down as Registrar of the University of Nottingham on 31/12/2024 and will also resign from his role at Humane on the same date. He was elected President on 16/10/2023.

Alex Pellacani, a graduate in Economics from the University of Trento (1989-1995), has been serving as Managing Director of the same university since 2016. In this role, he is responsible for the overall management of university services, resources, and technical-administrative staff, overseeing key units such as corporate services, human resources, planning, treasury, student services, infrastructure, information technology, and the university library system.
