Dutch Research Council (NWO): Anka Mulder new Vice President from 05/2025; organisation to leave X

Anka Mulder is appointed new Vice President of the Dutch Research Council (NWO) and will start her new position on 01/05/2025, announces the NWO on 20/12/2024. She will succeed Caroline Visser, who held the position for eight years.

"In this role, she will, among other things, be administratively responsible for all operational management aspects of the entire NWO organisation as portfolio holder for Operations and Finances", says the organisation.

Anka Mulder has been chairman of the Executive Board of Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) since 2018, where she is responsible for its strategy and research, external relations, internationalisation and the relationship with employee participation and Saxion's supervisory board.

From 2013-2017, she was vice-chair of the TU Delft's Executive Board, where she was responsible for education and operations and she holds several ancillary positions in the field of knowledge and innovation in the Netherlands.
