Yerun: Malmö University (Sweden), 24^th member of the network

Malmö University (Sweden) joins Yerun, the Young European Research Universities Network, announces the latter on 17/01/2025.

Malmö University is a modern research institution located in the heart of the Öresund Region. It is dedicated to advancing a sustainable and equitable society through cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research and education.

"Its dedication to inclusion, transnational collaboration and addressing complex societal challenges reflects the core values that drive Yerun’s mission to shape the future of research and education in Europe", states the network. "This collaboration will enrich both Yerun and Malmö University, with the university’s innovative approaches and expertise enhancing the network’s collective impact, while Yerun’s collaborative platform supports Malmö’s efforts to advance research, innovation and education."

The Young European Research Universities Network, established in 2015, unites forward-thinking young research universities across Europe. With 24 member institutions, the network extends its representation to 18 European countries.
