Essec : A campus in Rabat with "a clear ambition to open up to the rest of Africa" (H. Levecq)

"Morocco offers political, social and economic stability and has a clear ambition to open up to the rest of the African continent, which is also what we want to do", declares Hugues Levecq, Deputy Dean of Essec Africa, in an interview with News Tank on 16/01/2025.

Essec Africa is the name of the Essec campus located in Rabat (Morocco), established in 2017 by the French business school as "a continuation of the school's strategy of setting up international campuses to have a local base and a credible and contextualised voice in what it can do outside its borders".

The campus offers two main programmes (the global BBA and the PGE, focused on local challenges and expertise), the IPBA starting in 2025, a summer school every year in July, and a new Business and Industry in Africa Chair, the first Chair of the Moroccan campus, which started in January 2025.
