Paderborn University (Germany): New executive board elected

The Paderborn University Election Assembly elects four non-full-time Vice Presidents on 31/01/2025, reports the German university on the same day.

The elected Vice Presidents were proposed candidacy by President-designate, Matthias Bauer and presented to the university hearing. The current full-time Vice President for Business and Personnel Administration, Simone Probst, will maintain office. The new term of the Board will start this 01/04/2025 and last six years.

Beate Flath, Vice President for Studies, Teaching and Quality Management, teaches Event Management and is a Managing Director of C:POP.Transdisciplinary Research Centre for Popular Music Cultures and Creative Economies.

René Fahr, the current Vice President for Knowledge and Technology, will relocate his duties as the new Vice President for Transfer and Sustainability.

Heike Trautmann, the new Vice President for International Relations, is a professor of Machine Learning and Optimism. Thomas Tröster, who currently heads the Chair for the Lightweight Automotive Design, will be Vice President for Research and Academic Career…
