EUA: Vinciane Gaillard appointed Director of Research and Innovation

Vinciane Gaillard is Director of Research and Innovation of the EUA since 01/03/2025, replacing Stephane Berghmans, announces the association on 06/03.

Vinciane Gaillard has been serving as Deputy Director for Research and Innovation at the EUA since 2019. Doctor of Psychology, she held various academic and research management roles in cognitive psychology and neuroscience, including Research Manager and Postdoctoral Researcher at Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium).

In her new role, she will head EUA’s R&I unit, overseeing the implementation of the Association’s Research & Innovation Agenda, Innovation Agenda, and Open Science Agenda.

Reacting to her appointment, Vinciane Gaillard states: "I am deeply honoured to step into the role of R&I Director. I am eager to build upon the excellent foundations we have already put in place at EUA and contribute to fostering an even stronger, community-driven approach to research and innovation".
