"The signal from both the Parliament and the Council is very clear. We’re delighted with how both co-legislators have really listened to the sector. There has been a lot of consultation going on within and among member states in the Council to ensure that the perspective of the sector is represented. On 11/03, Christian Ehler, a German MEP from the EPP presented its report on the assessment of the implementation of Horizon Europe to vote, asking for a standalone FP10 with an increased budget. It was adopted by 472 votes to 75 and 92 abstentions in Strasbourg (France).

On the same day, the 27 European Ministers for R&I adopted the Warsaw declaration, "calling on the European Commission to draft its initial proposal for the future framework programme, building on the legacy of self-standing framework programmes, in close cooperation with the Member States".
