IE University partnering with OpenAI to "move at the forefront of AI-native learning"

"We don’t want to be in a position where students are all using AI and we’re trying to stop them, which would require outwitting them - a battle we will never win! IE University announced a new partnership with OpenAI, integrating OpenAI tools across its entire academic ecosystem, on 18/02/2025. This initiative makes ChatGPT Edu available to students, faculty, and staff as a core part of research, teaching, and learning.

"We see AI as the driving force that helps us in several ways. It is pushing us to change; AI is here to stay across all industries and professional fields, including education.

Our goal is to ensure that our students are prepared today, not tomorrow, for what AI brings to the table and for these new ways of working", indicates Begoña Gonzalez Cuesta, Dean of Education and Academic Experience of Business School.
