€1.04 Bn to be invested in European Partnerships in advanced materials, textiles, and photovoltaics

The European Commission announces the launch of three new European Partnerships in advanced materials, textiles, and photovoltaics on 20/03/2025. In collaboration with private partners, the Commission aims to invest up to €1.04 Bn in these initiatives.

The first funding opportunities under these new partnerships will be part of the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2025. A fourth co-programmed partnership on Virtual Worlds will be launched later in 2025.

These partnerships are a collaborative initiative between the European Commission and public or private organisations, established under the Horizon Europe framework. They aim to drive RD&I in strategic areas by pooling resources and expertise from various stakeholders, such as governments, industry leaders, research institutions, and civil society.
