European Alliances: Future4Alliances project to create a legislative and technical framework

Campus France, the agency for the promotion of French higher education abroad, will coordinate the Future4Alliances project, it announces on 28/03/2025. The project aims to create a legislative and technical framework conducive to 65 European university alliances and harmonise national and regional funding with that of Erasmus+ and other European programmes.

Future4Alliances is a response to the European Commission's "Policy Experimentation" call, which closed on 04/06/2024. It is co-financed by the EU to the tune of €962,642 and has a total budget of €1.2 M.

From March 2025, Campus France will be working with four ministries - Austrian, Italian, Bulgarian and Spanish - as well as with Edufi (the Finnish national agency for education), HK-dir (the executive agency of the Danish Ministry of Education and Research), the Tempus Foundation (which promotes and implements EU education programmes in Serbia) and CMEPIUS (the Slovenian national agency for EU programmes and international mobility programmes).
