A. Epple, G. Majdič, I. Popović and M. Tuñón de Lara elected to the EUA Board

Angelika Epple, Gregor Majdič, Ivanka Popović and Manuel Tuñón de Lara are elected to the EUA Board, announces the EUA on 10/04/2025, after an election on the first day of the EUA General Assembly in Riga (Latvia), taking place on 10 and 11/04.

Ivanka Popović, former Rector of the University of Belgrade (Serbia), is re-elected for a second term, having served on the Board since 2021.

Angelika Epple, Rector of Bielefeld University (Germany), Gregor Majdič, Rector of the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Manuel Tuñón de Lara, Former president of the University of Bordeaux (France), are all first-time Board members.

The elected candidates will take office immediately and serve for four years.

"Joining the EUA Board means making an active contribution to an ambitious European policy for higher education and research.
