EUA Annual Conference: "We want to connect the dots on sustainability and resilience" (J.M. Garrell)

"This year, we will address the linked topics and multi-faceted concepts of sustainability and resilience. We will work towards defining what they mean for universities. We also want to connect the dots on sustainability and resilience, because both concepts are essential for the future", says Josep M. Garrell, President of the EUA, at the opening of the 2025 Annual Conference of the EUA, taking place in Riga (Latvia) on 10 and 11/04/2025.

The main questions of the conference are: “How can universities contribute to a more sustainable future, both on and off campus? While contributing to a more sustainable future, how can universities strengthen their institutional resilience? How can they help to strengthen societal resilience? How can university leadership and the whole community best pursue sustainability and resilience as key objectives of institutional missions, strategies and activities?”
