The European Innovation Council (EIC) is launching a call for applications for its Board members, reports the Commission on 07/04/2025.

"Members are appointed for two years, renewable twice. The mandate of the current members of the Board will come to an end in December 2025", states the Commission.

The Board is made up of up to 20 members. "To ensure a balanced composition that combines continuity with fresh insights, the Commission intends to automatically renew the mandate of approximately 10 to 12 existing members", indicates the Commission. The remaing positions will be filled through the open call.

The Commission seeks a diverse group of high-level individuals, including: "entrepreneurs who have started up and scaled up innovative enterprises at European or global level; and researchers and academics with leading expertise in fields relating to future and emerging technologies".
