ExclusiveUUK delegation to Berlin: German-British cooperation still expanding, "a real success story" (HRK)

"The German-British university cooperation has been a real success story. British universities have remained a highly attractive destination over the past decades, both for research and teaching", says Jens-Peter Gaul Secretary General of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK), on 14/05/2025.

"Germany is the UK’s top collaborative partner in Europe, and within Horizon Europe, Germany has consistently been our most frequent partner. This reflects a long history of collaboration that goes back through previous framework programmes", states Jamie Arrowsmith, Director of UUK International.

They are speaking at the last stop of the UUKi's tour of Europe with a delegation of British stakeholders from the education and research sector to meet with colleagues in six key countries: France, the Netherlands, Ireland, Norway, Poland and Germany.
