Clarivate to partner with Canadian Research Knowledge Network and expand partnership with Capes (Brazil)

Clarivate launches a multi-year partnership with the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN), a consortium of libraries and research institutions in Canada, it announces on 03/06/2025.

"The agreement provides 55 Canadian universities with expanded access to the Web of Science and is designed to enhance inter-member research collaborations, improving accessibility to content for all members", states the company.

On 02/06/2025, Clarivate also announced a new five-year agreement with the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (Capes), and expanded access to Academia & Government and Life Sciences & Healthcare data across over 400 Brazilian institutions.

According to Clarivate, the new partnership "increases institutional coverage by 57%, extending the reach of high-quality research tools to universities and research centres from major metropolitan areas to the country’s most remote regions".
