Eelisa alliance: "We had the go to prepare a draft statute of the legal entity" (Sofia Costa D’Aguiar)

"The legal entity is a key strategic topic that the Eelisa rectors discussed and decided upon. We aim to create a legal entity that will support the alliance’s sustainability. We had the go from the Governing Board to prepare a draft statute of the legal entity for presentation at the next Governing Board in Istanbul in November 2024", states Sofia Costa D’Aguiar, Executive Director of the university alliance Eelisa, to News Tank on 11/06/2025.

She reflects on the Governing Meetings of Eelisa held in Paris and organised under the French presidency of the alliance. Eelisa operates with a rotating chairmanship of the Governing Board, which changes every six months. The event was co-chaired by L'École des Ponts ParisTech and Université Paris Sciences et Lettres. Meetings were held at all levels, including the Governing Board, the Executive Board, the Student Council, the Elected Staff, and the Academic and Scientific Advisory Board.
