University of Oslo: Launch of the Centre for Global Sustainability to "further strengthen the work"

The Centre for Global Sustainability will further strengthen the work already conducted by the University of Oslo (UiO) with sustainability-related research at a high international level across the natural sciences, medicine, social sciences and the humanities. The goal is to facilitate greater collaboration across disciplines through a structure that accommodates both permanent and temporary research communities, indicates the Norwegian university on 02/06/2025.

"From the outset, the centre has a strong team of academic and administrative staff with extensive experience in interdisciplinary research on topics such as global health, consumption, energy and resources, as well as democracy and sustainable development. Over time, we will bring in more researchers and fields to further expand our interdisciplinary profile", says the University of Oslo.
