EUA Learning & Teaching Agenda 2030: A strategic roadmap for European higher education

The European University Association (EUA) launches its first-ever Learning and Teaching Agenda 2030, a strategic framework designed to guide the organisation's work in higher education for the next five years, on 16/06/2025.

This initiative is accompanied by a webinar with members of the Learning and Teaching steering committee of the EUA. Anne Lequy, former Chair of the committee, says that "the Learning and Teaching Agenda 2030 defines the topics EUA will work on in the upcoming five years in the field of learning and teaching".

The agenda is articulated around three key focus areas: quality, transformation, and connectivity.

While the agenda sets a five-year timeframe, the EUA anticipates that "2030 will not be the end because, of course, the learning and teaching activities will go on after that". The organisation notes that this agenda is primarily "for EUA, not for its members, because we need to implement it", though it is hoped to "serve as inspiration for all partners".
