EAIE: President's Award to Allan Goodman for his "decades-long leadership and transformative impact"

"Receiving the EAIE President's Award is one of the highest honours of my career — and to receive it in Sweden feels like winning the Nobel Prize for International Education. This recognition would not be possible without the leadership, vision and dedication of EAIE and its remarkable members", says Allan E. Goodman, President Emeritus of the Institute of International Education (IIE, a private organisation facilitating international exchanges), upon the announcement of his award on 19/08/2025.

EAIE Awards "recognise the individuals and organisations whose vision, dedication, and actions have made a lasting impact on the field of international education". This year, the President's Award honours the "exceptional, decades-long commitment to advancing international education" of Allan Goodman, who "has shaped the global landscape of academic exchange, championing initiatives that promote peace, knowledge, and mutual understanding", states the EAIE.
