Reports on conferences held by the EUA during the academic year 2024-2025

Since the start of the 2024 academic year, the European University Association has travelled across Europe to attend conferences it has organised. The News Tank editorial team followed the EUA on these trips to provide its readers with content on all the discussions. The team invites you to (re)discover these rich exchanges, as well as the content of the resulting reports.

In April, the EUA held its annual conference in Riga, Latvia. Under the theme of resilience and sustainability, topics such as research assessment, funding for higher education and research, and the environment were discussed. New board members were also elected.

In February, News Tank accompanied universities to Cork, Ireland, to raise the profile of the association's work on learning and teaching, as educational activities are "less visible than research", according to Anne Lequy, Chair of the Learning & Teaching Committee of the EUA and Board member of the association.
