EAIE 2025: Non-EU participants working on better communication and more collaborations with Europe

"We know there is a message coming out of the United States that feels very antagonistic about international education. We want to reaffirm our commitment to internationalisation through our presence here and continue to promote peacebuilding through exchange and other collaborations. We still believe in the value of intercultural and global learning", states Will Coghill-Behrends, Dean of Global Education at Minnesota State University (U.S), on 12/09/2025.

He is speaking during the EAIE annual conference, taking place in Gothenburg (Sweden), from 09 to 12/09.

He is joined by Oyebanji Bamidele, from the Wisdom House of College (Nigeria): "A lot of Nigerian universities are not well represented around the world, and there is always a communication breakdown when global universities want to work with ours. Here, we act as a central point of contact."
