OpenClassrooms: Accreditation to deliver American degrees; "a first for a French school"

OpenClassrooms, a specialist in online training, has obtained accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission, one of the independent higher education assessment and accreditation bodies in the United States. "OpenClassrooms thus becomes the first French school authorised to deliver American degrees to its learners throughout the world", announces the start-up on 16/09/2025.

"We will be launching 24 American degrees in traditional courses and some in sandwich courses. It's quite innovative in the United States to offer sandwich courses, paid for by the employer and with no student debt", declares Pierre Dubuc, co-founder and CEO of OpenClassrooms.

The French edtech company can deliver degrees from Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees in the United States and abroad. Its accreditation covers its entire catalogue of courses for six years, with a three-year audit.
