Danish presidency to "ensure not losing sight of frontier research" during FP10 negotiations (C. Egelund)

"With the proposal from the European Commission on the next Horizon Europe programme, there is a strong emphasis on the importance of frontier research. As the presidency of the Council, we will ensure that negotiations are brought forward and that we do not lose sight of frontier research. That is how we stand stronger and how we can wisely use this exceptional moment and time to secure the future that we commonly want for Europe", states Christina Egelund, Minister of Higher Education and Science of Denmark and President of the Research Council of the EU until 31/12/2025, on 07/10/2025.

She opens the ERC Week, which takes place in Copenhagen (Denmark) from 07 to 10/10/2025: "For Europe to compete globally, we need world-class research.
