IE University (Spain) to invest $18 M over five years in New York College

"The commitment of IE University to US regulators when taking over the college in New York is to invest $18 M (€15.5 M) over five years. We will likely exceed that", states Manuel Muñiz, Provost of IE University and Chair of the Board of Trustees of IE New York College on 02/10/2025, as part of the first meeting of the Advisory Council of IENYC in New York.

IE University is an institution located in Madrid (Spain) comprising six schools. In July 2024, it became the sole member of IENYC (IE New York College), a college located in the Soho neighbourhood of New York City. The latter was originally founded in 2017 as Glasgow Caledonian New York College by the Glasgow Caledonian University. The college was chartered by New York State to award master’s degrees in business, emphasising the Common Good and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
