"Say Ja" initiative by three German business schools to promote studying science in Germany

ESMT Berlin, Mannheim Business School, and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management announced on 9/10/2025 they are joining forces for "Say Ja to Germany", an initiative designed to bring greater international attention to Germany as a destination for science and education.

"Germany stands for stability, democracy, and intellectual openness, especially in contrast to the changing political and social conditions in other parts of the world. Against this backdrop, the three institutions aim to speak with a unified voice and purposefully strengthen international interest in studying, researching, and exchanging ideas in Germany", according to an official statement.

The three non-profit institutions say they "share a strong set of common values". All three are also triple-crown accredited, holding AACSB, Equis and Amba accreditations.

The initiative involves "a coordinated external communications strategy" and "unified public positioning". Joint activities are planned, such as public relations and media contributions in national and international outlets, a social media campaign…
