Berkeley Space Centre and University of Luxembourg agree to collaborate in space science

Berkeley Space Centre and the University of Luxembourg have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand their collaboration in space science and technology.

The MoU, which was announced by the University of Luxembourg on 12/11/2025, establishes a framework for collaboration for the next five years.

The agreement sets out plans to collaborate in three subject areas: digital space infrastructures, space robotics and autonomous systems, and space law and policy. The institutions plan to collaborate on research projects, conferences, workshops and symposia. They also plan to exchange researchers and explore joint education opportunities.

Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, said, "Today’s MoU marks an important step toward deeper ties between Luxembourg and the Berkeley Space Centre, strengthening our ecosystems and opening new opportunities for research and entrepreneurship."
