Creation

On 27/11/2025, the SEA-EU Alliance formally established the SEA-EU Association, a new legal entity designed to secure the long-term sustainability and governance of the European University of the Seas.

The creation of the Association is described as “not only an administrative achievement, but also a renewed collective vision for the long-term development of the Alliance.”

The Association provides a stable framework for joint strategies, shared programmes and reinforced cooperation among the nine partner universities, supporting the development of a European Coastal Campus and the Alliance’s contribution to the transformation of European higher education.
