IE University Spain awards over €50M in scholarships in 2025

IE University in Spain has awarded more than €50 million in scholarships in 2025.

The university announced on 01/12/2025 that, together with the IE Foundation, it had invested this amount "to attract and develop global talent." This year, 3,500 students received a scholarship and nearly 8,000 have benefited from financial support over the past five years.

These scholarship programmes, developed in partnership with companies and institutions worldwide, provide "outstanding students" with access to academic opportunities regardless of their financial situation.

IE University's scholarship programmes include region- and country-specific awards, such as scholarships for students from the African continent, Norway, Mexico, China and the US, as well as programmes focused on leadership, research, the humanities and sustainability.

In addition, IE Foundation provides scholarships for students at IE New York College, enabling exceptional candidates to pursue specialised Master's programmes in New York and work in the US for up to three years after graduation.
